Clifford Corp ("we," "us," or "our") operates the HealthApp mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our App.
By using the App, you agree to the data practices described here. We are based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and the App is offered worldwide.
If you enable HealthKit integration, the App reads the following data from Apple Health, with your explicit permission, to personalize your insights:
HealthKit data is used solely to display and personalize your health insights within the App. We do not transmit HealthKit data to our servers, sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it for marketing. You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in iPhone Settings โ Health โ HealthApp.
Most of your data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. Sensitive information including medications, vital signs, dream logs, and journal entries is encrypted using iOS Keychain via Expo SecureStore.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the HealthApp mobile application ("App") provided by Clifford Corp ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf.
HealthApp is a personal health and wellness tracking application offering features across five pillars: Lifestyle, Fitness, Food, Mind, and Sleep. The App offers a free tier and a paid Pro tier with additional features.
Important: HealthApp is a wellness and lifestyle tracking tool. It is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
You may use the App without creating an account, with all data stored locally on your device. If you create an account:

Subscription Terms:
Refunds: All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple under their App Store refund policy at support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084. Clifford Corp does not directly issue refunds for App Store purchases.
Pricing Changes: We may change subscription pricing for new subscribers at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price increase takes effect, and you will have the opportunity to cancel.
The App uses third-party AI (Google Gemini) to provide features such as food identification, recipe generation, and personalized insights. AI outputs are estimates and suggestions only, are not guaranteed to be accurate, and should not be relied upon for medical, dietary, or treatment decisions.
You agree not to use AI features for purposes outside the App's intended scope.

If you use social features such as Friend Circles, you may submit content visible to other circle members. You are responsible for the content you share.
To keep HealthApp's social features safe and supportive, you agree NOT to:
Any user can report posts that violate these guidelines using the report option on any post. We review reports and may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these guidelines. You can also block other users at any time, which prevents their posts from appearing in your feed.
We reserve the right to remove content, suspend accounts, or terminate access for users who violate these guidelines, with or without prior notice depending on the severity.
The App, including all design, code, content, and trademarks, is owned by Clifford Corp and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You retain ownership of content you create within the App (such as journal entries, custom recipes, and photos).
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clifford Corp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profit, or personal injury.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clifford Corp from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the App.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
For users in the European Economic Area, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

To manage or cancel your HealthApp Pro subscription:
If you previously subscribed and your Pro features are not showing, open the App and tap "Restore Purchase" inside the upgrade screen.
To export your HealthApp data, go to Profile โ Export Data. Your data will be saved as a CSV file you can share or save.
To delete all your locally stored data, go to Profile โ Delete My Data. This action cannot be undone. To also delete cloud-stored data (if you have an account), email us at the address above.
To enable or disable Apple Health integration, go to Profile โ Connect Apple Health. You can revoke permissions anytime in iPhone Settings โ Health โ HealthApp.
